Dia Frampton - Red第一耳听到  Dia Frampton 的声音的时候，还以为是听到了 Cathy Dennis！不信你仔细听听，就会发现有似曾相识的感觉。很奇特，一个 80 后的嗓子听起来有那么一点像是一个早已名不见经传的 60 后。不管这些了，总之，这感觉很奇妙。

今天推荐这首 Don’t Kick The Chair 是专辑中的第一首歌，很是入耳，不过说实话：专辑中的其它歌曲就乏善可陈了，不像 Cathy Dennis 那样好歌不少。不过你如果喜欢这个调调，不妨找来整张专辑听一下。

Dia 出生于 1987 年 10 月 3 号，她的父亲是韩国的 DJ，而母亲则是一名荷兰人，Dia 还有一位姐姐叫 Meg Frampton，她们两姐妹也成立了一个组合叫做 Meg & Dia（发行过两张唱片，不过很快就被华纳解约），在组合中，Dia 担任主唱和键盘手。2005 年，她们为了音乐事业放弃了大学而来到盐湖城继续她们的音乐梦想。

2011 年，在美国选秀节目 The Voice 的首场淘汰赛电视直播中，Dia的一首翻唱自 Kanye West 的歌曲 Heartless 拨动了电视机前数以百万计观众的心弦，她以自己柔美的中低音以及对歌曲独一无二的理解在习惯了快节奏音乐的美国乐坛唱响了一曲清新、幽美的 Dia 旋律。同年 6 月 29 日，在 The Voice 决赛首度亮相的原创新单 Inventing Shadows 仅耗时 2 小时便打破了 Lady GaGa 此前创造的 iTunes 下载榜 3 小时登顶的记录。

首张专辑结合民谣与独立流行，编曲大量运用钢琴和不插电吉他，呈现出一幅阳光复古的小清新风，异常好听。
